I'm Iker, a professional chef in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. I was born in Mexico City where I got to experience some fascinating Mexican and Lebanese cuisine. I would go over to my Lebanese grandmother's home every day and she would constantly be cooking up delicious dishes from her homeland. When I came to the United States I learned to cook because I wanted to recreate these amazing flavors but could not find anything remotely close to them. Eventually I began cooking for friends and one day through a friend's recommendation I was called up to cater a remote desert wedding. This is how I started my career in the food industry. Since then I have done a few other gigs and am currently studying in culinary school. I am well versed in a variety of different cuisines, my specialty is to take classic dishes from around the world and make them as healthy as possible without decreasing the flavors. Whether you're hosting an intimate dinner for two or a large, festive gathering, I can provide you with delicious, memorable meals. My aim is to curate a perfect meal for my clients and their guests depending on their tastes and the setting of the party. I'm available to hire for private events and catering.
