I am a classical trained chef with an associates degree in Culinary Arts and have over 17 years of restaurant experience, including the last nine years in kitchen management.
I believe cooking is a skill and craft and I work hard to ensure my skill and craft deliver at the highest level. My strengths include a high level of technical skill in the kitchen as well as great leadership skills with a focus on order, structure and discipline. I believe these strengths provide a high level of quality control to the product and lead to success in the kitchen.
I have a wide range of experiences and have worked in various kitchen environments and restaurant cultures which help suit me and enable me to adapt to any environment. I try to get the most out of my staff everyday and believe in leading by example getting my hands involved in every aspect. I thrive on the idea of a working chef and love being on the line.
I have a great grasp on high steaks and seafood as well as a strong knowledge of French and Italian and believe in a simple approach to cooking while putting the quality of an ingredient first.
I am also a Veteran of the Army National Guard and believe my experiences in the military have also helped develop a strong sense of structure, responsibility and pride in what I do on a daily basis.
