Hello! I'm Teresa, a passionate plant-focused chef based in New York. I specialize in creating mouthwatering dishes that celebrate fresh, locally sourced ingredients and vibrant flavors. I grew up in an Adventist household where many Friday nights were either spent watching Veggie Tales and DreamWorks movies on repeat, or setting the dinner table for Sabbath dinners, awaiting to be presented to the group of guests for a feast (and bible study). Majority of my favorite memories were made in a warm home, full of friends and family, and I am forever grateful for the culturally diverse meals and traditions my family exposed me to; always experimenting, remaining open to trying something new. That curiosity has stayed with me forever, both in the comfort of my own kitchen and beyond. In 2019 I partnered with Mayday Space and Bushwick City Farms, and began hosting farm fresh and seasonal produce focused community dinners that were open to the public. Every month, a new person would show up amongst a group of familiar faces. I felt I was creating my own world and inviting people in it.
