I am inspired by global cultures, ingredients, & techniques and looking to make all of your food dreams come true. As we eat with our eyes first, I aim to infuse beauty into every dish I create. My efforts are approached with a passion for social justice, sustainability, farming, and artisan food makers. I have loved food - and everything associated with it - for as long as I can remember. My dad raised me on fresh oysters, and stream trout and Skagit Valley potatoes. It sounds decadent but it was a very simple, modest life that taught me resourcefulness, and to appreciate the beauty and bounty of nature and the connection we must maintain with the earth in order to thrive. Cooking became my love language early on, and I relished any moment I could spend in the kitchen. Rhubarb cobblers and raspberry jam made from the spoils of my very own back yard! I felt so powerful! To this day, when my family gathers, it is I who feeds them, the whole lot of them, and I do so with absolute delight. I cook from the heart and I love what I do…offering private chef services of all kinds, including meal prep, dinner parties, catering and specialized diets, with a focus on nutrition, wellness, freshness and color.
