A 23 year culinary professional who has worked in many boutique restaurants throughout SE Florida and the United States. Helgi Olafson has been a superyacht chef for the past 11 years, creating culinary memories for some of the world's most affluent. Having served as a Castin Food Judge for FOX TV's MasterChef with Gordon Ramsay for five seasons, Helgi's palette is refined. He believes that "balance" in cuisine comes from a combination of salt, fat, acid, sweet, and heat, of course, mixed with a labor of love. Helgi's extensive training gives him the ability to create a custom culinary experience for his clients, based on their preferences. Helgi is a guest facing chef who can lead a cooking class in your home or stay behind the scenes to manage the food and/or staff for your meal service(s) of any size.
