Chef in Lantz, Nova Scotia

The last few years have been more challenging for the food service industry, with raw food cost rising faster than most have witnessed in 30 years it is to maintain quality and affordability, with the product the customer base is expecting. Alongside the staffing issues every establishment has been facing. It will give our industry a push into the future whether we like it or not. It will call for a bit of change in the way we shape our images. Personally, I am looking forward to moving and growing along with it and encouraged by the outlook. I am looking for my next adventure / challenge and seeking a long-term position with the ability to use and hone all the skills I have absorbed and self-taught over my long career. In a leadership / Chef role, one is as only as good as the team behind oneself, a Chef can make or break a team, and the team should be trained well enough that it runs the same with or without their Chef. My goal is to find the right position to move forward as well as the restaurant and ownership.
