Carolyn was a personal chef to our family of five, for several months. She spent approximately 20-25 hours per week planning a menu, doing the grocery shopping, and preparing meals. She was given several restrictions based on health challenges with our children and was required to make meals that were free of gluten, oats, animal products and processed oil. She did so with ease and vetted all the recipes at home, which was much appreciated. Upon our first conversation, I really connected with Carolyn. She was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about working with restricted diets. To say she was a pleasure to have in our home is an understatement. She had so much patience with three young children in the kitchen throughout the day and she really helped open up the minds of these picky eaters with creating fun ways to eat food and made eating into a game. She organized and labelled all the meals and snacks for the week to make finding items a breeze. Carolyn was easy to work along side, was flexible with scheduling, and fit into our family and home perfectly.
I have known Carolyn for nearly 20 years. In that time she has furthered her nutritional education and developed many, many delicious, healthy recipes, Carolyn brings a wealth of experience with an amazing work ethic and a positive can do approach for specific needs of her clientele. Highly recommended.
