Looking for a household that wants food to impress and nourish. Im a Michelin starred Chef looking for a family that will appreciate the finer foods in life. Cooking is my passion and food is best shared with people you love. Ive spent over 10 years cooking professionally. After studying at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in New York I moved to Spain to immerse myself, cook and study 2 Michelin star basque cuisine on the border with France. Basque food is heavily focused on the very best local ingredients taken with extreme care and cooked with extreme finesse and grace and simplicity. These are the skills I took from Spain, as well as a wealth of ingredient knowledge. After this I moved to South America. I spent 2 years in Santiago, Chile studying endemic Chilean cuisine. Here I was in charge of research and development of a fine dining luxury tasting menu restaurant. From this experience Ive gained a lot of creativity and resourcefulness as well as a better understanding of the chemistry behind food and once again an incredible amount of beautiful new ingredients and techniques. Many unique comfort foods and showstoppers. After this I spent almost 3 years as the chef of a Michelin started restaurant in Chicago, focusing my efforts on allergen sensitive cooking, naturally leaves ones baking and sourdough breads, as well as cakes, handmade pastries, and complex luxurious desserts, plant based cooking, handmade pastas, and small dinner party events of 10 people or less. Ive done all inclusive pop ups in the woods foraging for all the food myself, private dinners for 2, healthy mostly vegan lunches for the staff everyday including all of this plus more molded to each persons specific dietary restrictions such as: gluten free, dairy free, keto, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, and many more. The last year I’ve spent cooking vegan, kosher, sugar free, oil free, diabetic friendly, healthy food in a private home. This is only a small bit of my experience and Ive spent the last 11 years cooking and the last 5 of those years as a head chef in many places across the world. Im looking to move to a smaller more focused style of cooking in an intimate setting with a family in Los Angeles. No food prep offers please, Id like to be fully located with a family who really appreciates food and dining as a luxury of life and wishes to eat in style.
