Food has been my hobby for most of my life, beginning with watching food network with my mom in the 90s. As a young adult, work had me living in Asia for 4 years; I’m fortunate to have traveled through a dozen asian countries too. That heavily influences my food. I adore home-made Chinese food in the Sichuan style; what my friends in China made at home was the best food I’ve ever had. I’m more likely to explore a night market or food truck lot than a Michelin-starred tasting menu. During Covid, I started exploring my own catering and private cooking: rehearsal dinners, in-home plated meals, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, bartending, designing craft cocktails to-go, weekly meal prep services. I’ve independently served 2-50 people out of various kitchens many times over. Food is my creative outlet that puts a smile on the faces of other humans. I’m super thankful for the handful of loyal fans who have encouraged and supported me along the way.
