I obtained my Culinary Arts Degree in 2006 as an "older" student than my first go round of college, where I graduated with a Business degree. My passion for food and how it feeds the body and the soul is something I was born with, so I left the world of corporate computers and paperwork to embrace my true joy of creating and sharing delicious cuisine infused with love, mindfulness, and nourishment. The avenues and environments I have covered in the culinary realm range from catered events, weddings, private dinners and corporate events to educational institution food prep and service, and multi course wine pairing dinners! I love preparing dishes with ethnic influenced ingredients, and also enjoy baking up some sourdough and artisan breads! I believe in using the freshest, organic and local when possible, ingredients in my meal preparation, and I place high emphasis on sustainability. I have experience in special dietary requirements, such as gluten free, vegetarian and vegan preferences, and I enjoy creating custom menus suited for each and every individual dining experience.
