I am a Chef obviously, and cooking is my passion. I was first put in the kitchen when I was six or seven by my grandma. She was the one responsible for lighting the fire within me. It's called soul food for a reason; you must be passionate and care about the food you make. It will show when people eat it.

I work 60 + hours, and I drive my daughter to and from work and take care of my elderly mother so by the end of the day I don't want to cook so I have hired Deon a few times. He always arrives on time. My mom likes southern food, something I am not familiar with cooking lol he has actually gotten my daughter and mother to eat more red meat! His steak tips melt in their mouth and the honey flavored corn bread muffins are amazing. My new favorite meal is his stuffed chicken with spinach, bacon and Colby Jack cheese. This has got to be the best chicken ever! Not only does Deon cook but he gets my mom laughing and that to me is priceless. Thank you, Deon, for being our preferred Chef! Look forward to having you out again soon.
