I've been cooking professionally for the past 12 years in New York City and Charleston SC and Los Angeles.
Ive worked in upscale restaurants and also in the private homes of upscale clients. I have experience working with a variety of diets including but not limited to dairy-free, gluten-free, kosher, paleo, keto, vegetarian, vegan, etc. My menus reflect a healthy cooking style with lots of lean meats, seasonal produce, whole grains and natural ingredients. I always try to buy organic when available and only the best quality meats (wild fish, organic poultry, hormone free/antibiotic-free, free range, grass-fed etc.)
While at a client site my responsibilities have included budget management, grocery shopping, pantry inventory, and managing dietary restrictions, menu development, securing necessary party rentals and wait staff, meal preparation and execution, and clean up.
I am a family friendly cook and welcome children of all ages. At home, I have a 4 and a half year old and a 2 year old. I know the challenges of cooking for toddlers and excel at cooking both nutritious and fun meals with a few secret tricks to get them to eat if they are picky.
