My name is Nathan Hurtt and I hold a BS in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University. I’d describe myself as a flexible chef with a large passion for food and strong desire to innovate. Upon graduating in 2010 I worked for a private chef in Manhattan serving numerous high net worth/celebrity clients and at several fine-dining restaurants. Eventually I took my experiences back to Rochester, where I am from, and worked as a private chef for a family while building my business. In the ensuing years I’ve used my passion for food to develop a successful food truck enterprise, which turned into a store franchise, which turned into a QVC product. This on-the-job business education has been an extremely valuable experience and I’m delighted to bring this knowledge back into the private sector. I’ve been fortunate to cook for many different clients providing a wide variety of food services leaving me with a vast amount of knowledge on world cuisines, dietary restrictions, and creative innovations.
