Hi! I’m Nailah, a Bay Area-born chef, herbalist, and holistic well-being coach based in Walnut Creek. Cooking has been one of my greatest passions since childhood, and today I love using food as a way to nourish, heal, and connect. My approach is intuitive, seasonal, and deeply nourishing, focused on whole foods, bold flavor, and meals that feel good in the body and soul. I specialize in high-fiber, high-protein meals; love working with anti-inflammatory and allergen-friendly ingredients; and bring joy and creativity to every menu I plan. I especially enjoy working with clients who are navigating health conditions, dietary transitions, or simply want to eat better without sacrificing satisfaction. Some of my favorite ingredients to cook with include mushrooms, garlic, lemon, fresh herbs, beans, chicken thighs, and seasonal vegetables. Services Offered - In-home cooking (weekly or biweekly) - Personalized meal prep tailored to dietary needs - Family-style meals with leftovers - Vibrant vegetarian/vegan options - Nutrient-dense, holistic cooking for healing and vitality - Sauces, teas, desserts, and condiments available on request - Dinner party preparation: intimate gatherings, special occasions, or multi-course meals made with seasonal ingredients and lots of heart I currently cook in-home for a Bay Area family once a week, prepare nourishing community dinners for 20–80 people, and run a small-batch herbal foods business called Bee Queen Botanicals. My offerings include gluten-free, vegan desserts, fire cider, seasonal syrups, whipped honeys, and mineral-rich herbal salts. My current rate is $50/hour, which includes menu planning, ingredient prep, cooking, and kitchen cleanup. I am available Mondays and Tuesdays after 10 am, and Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays after 12 pm.
