Organic plant-based vegan food as part of a holistic lifestyle is my highest passion and I would love to share that with you and your family. I pride myself on delicious flavors and delicious plant-based meals. Ditch delivery meal plans and ingredient boxes. I menu plan (sent to you in advance for approval), grocery shop at your preferred store, farmer's market, or can pair you with local famers for the freshest and organic ingredients, come to your home, use your kitchen and appliances (I bring my chef knives), store the meals or plate for you, and clean up on my way out (I can even take the compost or recycling for you!). Proper menu planning cuts down on food waste and also ensured that you are having balanced meals throughout the week. In regards to ingredients, I don't use anything canned, highly processed or has chemicals, additives, thickeners etc.
A little about me - I went to FIU, the second highest rated school in the country for Hospitality. I achieved a BS and also received a minor in Wine & Beverage and took my first Sommelier exam after college. Throughout my time in Miami I learned from some of the best in the industry, from management, to the plating and variety of techniques that could be offered. My first job was with a naturopathic doctor who first showed me delicious vegan alternatives that lead to a more balanced state. Shortly after, I went to Hawaii to become certified to teach yoga in 2013 and while there, stayed on a vegan farm and picked up even more recipes and techniques there and slowly started my firm belief in veganism. I would return to the same farm year after year to teach yoga teacher trainings, and was exposed to more and more techniques and vegan meals that everyone enjoyed. I hired a private chef of my own after I had my first child, and loved the experience. I learned so much from her and it pushed my Hospitality career further into that direction. I soon after became a certified Vegan Chef, and am completing certification as a Vegan Dessert Chef. Although I have worked in restaurants throughout my years, when I started cooking for friends, family and holiday parties as a vegan adult, I felt that that was where my calling was - to help families achieve better health and vitality through conscious plant-based eating. Eating whole-food plant-based constantly is tough with our society today, but I can make that easier for you.
