For years, I was a private chef for an actor shooting a television series in the city. Each day, I prepared a four-course lunch for the actor, his writing team and the executive producer--typically, I served up to six people--and I was responsible for planning the menu, shopping for ingredients, and preparing the meal. The food focused on local, seasonal ingredients and was geared toward a healthy lifestyle. Since the TV show wrapped, I have worked as a private chef for several consistent clients, cooking in homes for families and guests.
