Hello dear employer, Allow me to introduce myself: I am a seasoned private chef with over 10 years experience in the food industry, in NYC, the Hamptons, Connecticut and New Jersey. I am currently in search of a full-time live-out employment as a private chef, with a single family, in NYC or the near-by Connecticut or New Jersey area. As a result, I found your website and became very interested. Cooking has been my passion for most of my life, and after receiving proper education from the French Culinary Institute and honing my skills in a number of restaurants in Manhattan - back of the house, and front, - I began my personal chef career. Cooking for families, their friends, business gatherings and all kinds of celebrations, I accommodated dinner parties anywhere from 2 to 150 guests in size. I focus my menus on the local ingredients of utmost quality, fresh, bright flavors, pushing off my knowledge of French, Italian, Spanish and Mediterranean cuisines. I believe in good, healthy, organic food and have ample experience with clients with gluten and dairy and other dietary sensitivities. Eventually I started working for single families, as it gave me a better opportunity to use my creativity and skills, matching them directly to my employer's desires and needs. I always had wonderful relationships with the families -- as a rule, I am engaging, but not intrusive -- and I was able to build strong weekly menus and plan proper budgeting for them. After recently embarking on a wonderful married life, I am interested in a reliable full-time position with a solid salary and health benefits, in exchange for hard work, professional devotion, creative excellence, constant learning and reinvention, and willingness to travel.
