My company, Bow Valley Gourmet is a Private Chef/Catering company that was established in 2009. I am the Chef/Owner Michael Anderson and have worked in some of the finest Hotels, Resorts and Restaurants in North America & the Caribbean. I graduated from the Culinary Institiute of America and began my professional career in New York. From there my travels lead me to Vail, Colorado where I was an Executive Chef. The idea of owning my own Private Chef company came into realization when I moved to Canmore, Alberta. After ten years of offering events via Bow Valley Gourmet, we have jumped into the Food Truck business! We now can bring the dining experience to you. Big Dog Smokehouse and BBQ offers in-truck smoked meats, sauces and sides made from scratch. We offer Private events catering. I have always enjoyed cooking and creating memorable food events. Since opening Bow Valley Gourmet - I have worked for several different families, offered my foods at Food Festivals, Anniversaries and worked with several different groups for both long and short term. I am flexible to your tastes and will work closely with you to create healthy, nutritious Menus for you and your group to enjoy.
