My name is Cheryl and I am a professional personal chef based in Kitchener, Ontario. I’m truly passionate about wholesome nutritious meals and utilization of fresh ingredients. I love to get creative with seasonal produce in my cooking. For years I worked as a tax lawyer in the Caribbean, the Netherlands and Canada. However in 2011 I decided to do what I’m actually passionate about and so I started my journey to become a Chef. At the same time I completed the WSET Advanced level 3 in Wines at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. After graduating from culinary school and wine school, I did a mix of things. I worked in wine stores where I consulted on wines and held wine tastings; Did catering at private gatherings such as weddings, birthdays and baby showers; Held food demonstrations; Provided wine courses and did bar service at private parties. Whether you’re vegan, (non) vegetarian, pescatarian, plant based or have certain dietary needs, I can prepare fresh meals in the Kitchener Waterloo area or help out with customized meal planning, to fit your lifestyle. I’m also looking for opportunities to be hired as a retreat chef for wellness retreats around the world.
