Working with Food is my passion! Since my childhood in Malaysia/Singapore and through my world of traveling, I have been involved with food. Here in the U.S., I have gained extensive experience working in restaurants, managing institutional kitchens, Recipes development and teaching cooking in a variety of venues. Currently I share my professional techniques and authentic recipes for Pacific Rim cuisines, California wine country cuisine, Asian Food and Wine pairing and other ethnic culture food at Santa Rosa Jr. College –culinary, the Relish Culinary Center, Surlatable, Shed of Healsburg, farmer markets. In additional also offered culinary gigs at country clubs in Florida - West Palm Beach, Bermuda and Bahamas. My institutional experience spans several years working and supervising in large facilities (see resume). In those positions, I was in charge of training wait staffs, cooks, cooking methods that comply with State Nutritional guidelines and food safety regulations. In addition also educate students of all ages on many levels of culinary skills and world cuisines. My past experiences inform me that my personality and enthusiasm adds to my people and management skills.
