i am a classically trained chef, studied at the illinois institute of art - chicago. worked for jason vincent and jason hammel at nightwood, under paul virant at vie where we earned a michelin star for two consecutive years. i moved back home to los angeles and worked for suzanne goin at lucques just before taking over sqirl as the executive chef where i earned the restauranteur a james beard nomination, earned most sustainable chef courtesy of star chefs, was asked to join the mad panel in copenhagen. partnered with chefs jon, vinny and ludo to run a very successful pop up for over six months in silverlake. i specialize in sourcing product from sustainable farms and cooking clean meals. vegetarian and vegan food all come from the earth, nothing processed.
