Job Responsibilities:
Cleaning - sweeping, moping, taking out trash
Dish washing - cleaning and sanitizing of dishes.
Cashier - Learning and operating point of sale software; taking and modifying customer orders
Deliveries – Able to make deliveries to houses within 10 miles of the restaurant
Reliable – Must have your own reliable transportation
Quality control - checking and monitoring of all ingredients and products
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure the safety of individuals and guest needs.
Will require bending, stooping, and occasional use of a ladder.
Lifting of boxes and equipment up to 50 lbs.
Reasonable accommodation will be made to those requiring assistance.
Previous food service experience preferred but not necessary
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Our Chefs need to have a great attitude and friendly demeanor
Maintains fast, accurate service and positive guest relations.
Ensures Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met.
Follows Hummus Amongus standards and procedures to make food safety a top priority
Must have the legal right to work in the United States
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able and willing to work flexible hours
Strong customer service skills required
Delights by anticipating guests' needs
Passionate about preparing and serving guests fresh, great tasting, premium quality food
Hustles in a team environment
Exhibits a "clean as you go" mentality.

There is only one location; however, Hummus Amongus’s plan and current status is constant growth, along with the employee’s position and pay, into multiple locations and franchise upon expansion of the company. Hummus Amongus is looking for an extremely long term employee. This position is in a high demanding environment. The employee hired will be expected to run the daily restaurant operations independently after several months of training.
