Facebook: https://....com/ Instagram: https://....com/ Email: ...********** A little about my career; Graduate of Ottawa’s Algonquin College Culinary Management program I Was appointed Executive Chef of Biagios Italian Kitchen upon competition of my 2 year program. I Represented the restaurant at the Ottawa Food and Wine Show in my first year and gained valuable experience before packing my knives for Vegan restaurant Zen Kitchen. I had worked here during culinary school part time and really felt this was the best opportunity to expand my knowledge and skill set. I represented Zen Kitchen at Ottawa’s annual Gold Medal Plates Competition placing Silver along Side Excecutive Chef & Owner Caroline Ishi. I had a brief stint at STEAK & Sushi in the Byword Market again representing the restaurant at the Ottawa Food and Wine Show before Moving down the street to to work beside Top Chef Canada Season 2 Finalist & Top Chef Canada All-Stars Executive Chef Johnny Korecki at Sidedoor Contemporary Kitchen & Bar. I once again represented this restaurant at Ottawa’s Gold Medal Plates Competition finishing with Silver and Bronze respectively in back to back years. It was here I found my love for South East Asian Cuisine / Chinese cooking techniques, pickling and preserving. I moved to Toronto and found myself at Head Chef and Owner Scott Vivian’s “Nose to Tail” machine BEAST Restaurant. Whole animal butchery, local farmers and forging of wild ingredients became second nature while learning what it takes to run a successfull restaurant in a major city. I represented the restaurant at the Toronto Food and Wine Show which was held at Evergreen Brickworks. After Beast I took a break and got into the Food Safety/ Health & Safety side of the industry for a company called Ecolab. I preformed Both Food Safety Audits & Health and Safety audits of the major Canadian grocery stores across Central, Eastern and Western Canada. I opened my own private dining and catering company CHESHIRE CAT in 2021, and to much delight have had unbelievable positive feedback and praise.
