Business Address: #002 1st Ave SE, Falher, AB T0H 1M0 Work location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full Time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Determine size of food portions • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Food preparation, chopping vegetables, cutting meat • Portioning and wrapping food • Clean kitchen and work areas • Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, wok etc.) • Unpack and putting away freight • Stock refrigerators, freezers and coolers • Take out garbage • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand • Sweep and mop kitchen floors Requirements: -Education: Completion of high school -Experience: Experience as cook is preferred but at least 2 years of experience as kitchen helper helps to qualify for the position. -Experience in Chinese/Asian cuisine is an asset. Salary: $15.85 to $16.00 hourly, 30 Hours per week. Other information: Monday to Friday most regular schedule.
