Chef Job in Evart, Michigan

Upscale hunting and retreat lodge Chef. Starting pay will be $15/hr. The chef will be responsible for cooking lavish meals in front of patrons, preparing menus, and plan and grow menu items on site. One crucial aspect of this position is to be able to interact with patrons - providing a unique experience. Must be able to work flexible hours! The position will start off under 40 hours/week but will increase with the number of clientele. ·Check freshness of food and ingredients ·Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers ·Develop recipes and determine how to present the food ·Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals ·Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality ·Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies · Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards $15/hr - Part time schedule to start and will grown into a full time position. Wage will increase as the business grows.
