Business Location: 1440 East Central, Prince George, BC V2M 3C1 Location of work: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods • Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food • Order supplies and equipment • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.) • Clean kitchen and work areas • Wash dishes • Work with minimal supervision Requirements: - Education: Completion of high school - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required. - Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, work under pressure - Personal suitability: Flexibility, team player, organized, client focus.
