HIGH VOLUME & FAST PACED RESTAURANT/HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL RESTAURANT IN THE BRONX IS SEEKING A EXPERIENCED GRILL CHEF Seeking an experienced short order cook who is EXCELLENT on the grill, deep fryers etc. If you are a hard worker, quick on your feet, and work well with a team this is the position for you!! - Experience on GRILL station - Schedule flexibility - Have excellent knife skills - Experience on multiple stations in the kitchen - Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation - Prepare and execute key components of dishes - Ensure quality of product and accuracy - Support other cooks - High level of responsibility and reliability - Willing to work under pressure and in a fast paced enviorment -Measure and assemble ingredients and cook all items according to specific recipe and menu guidelines -Grill requested food items in accordance to customers' specifications and preset recipes ***Must have a professional & team player attitude. Self motivated and high energy. Salary to be discussed upon interview with the executive chef. (Food Protection Certificate /Food Handlers License NECESSARY)
