Client in Steamboat Springs

The Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant in downtown Steamboat Springs is looking for experienced line and prep cooks to join our high energy team. An ideal candidate would be able to work well in a high-paced kitchen environment, have food handling experience as a prep and line cook, excellent time management skills, a positive attitude, high standards in quality of food production and be able to work on most holidays and during the busy seasons. Basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus. We are currently looking for full/part time PM line cooks and a full time AM prep cook with the ability to start immediately. Ideal candidates would have the potential to take on leadership roles with more responsibility in the kitchen. We are willing to pay very competitive wages to qualified candidates and would offer the opportunity for performance based wage increases. We especially need a competent individual to take a leadership role in the morning as an AM lead. This position would involve the management of the morning prep crew, opening of the restaurant and running the line for the busy lunch shift. As a scratch kitchen, we are incredibly committed to fresh and high quality food and are looking for someone with high culinary standards who is also able to produce at a large volume.
