I’m an experienced personal chef and author of six cookbooks. I’ve worked in the culinary world since 2012. For the last two years I enjoyed the privilege of working as a Personal Chef for 45 families spread out across 22 US states and 3 Canadian provinces. It was amazing! In addition to cooking for such a wonderfully diverse collection of people, I also taught children and families about cooking, meal prep, and nutrition. As a Personal Chef I’m accustomed to doing all the meal planning, grocery shopping, cabinet/pantry organization, cooking, and cleanup for my clients. You come home to delicious, clearly labeled food in the fridge that you reaheat at your convenience. It's entirely up to you whether you prefer to have me make your food in your home or deliver it to you in labeled containers. My work has given me extensive hands-on experience with popular dietary trends. As a personal chef I’ve cooked Paleo (including Paleo-AIP and Pegan), Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Keto, Vegan, Vegetarian, Kosher, and more. I’m always ready to tailor menus around the client’s personal tastes and needs, as well as those of any visitors. Every week I'll send you a Google Form with a minimum of 10 menu options and 4 sides/desserts for you to choose from. You pick your meals and I make them. It's that easy! If there are any specific recipes you know you want I'm always happy to make those as well. I'm located near the Arboretum, so Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Con Ollio, and Savory Spice Shop are all only five minutes away. It's easy for me to source your groceries from the store of your choice. I'd love to make your life easier by ensuring you always have delicious, healthy food in the fridge when you get home. Chris-Rachael stayed with me and my family for a week and I wish she would come back! She was able to make delicious, interesting, nutritious meals that my two young boys would eat and which the adults loved. She handled our dietary restrictions (some are vegetarian, kid preferences, kosher!) with ease and grace. We would always look forward to what she had in store for us each day. I loved how she included my kids in the process. She would let them help in the kitchen and talked to them respectfully. They responded heartily to her and ask when "auntie" is coming back. Chris-Rachael was very gracious about the fact that little boys would wake her in the morning by jumping on her bed and demanding she wake up. (they got to her before I could stop them!) She hosted a wonderful, entertaining, and tasty dinner party for some of my friends and they still rave about her food. And she left us with excellent leftovers and some frozen casseroles. Chris-Rachael really can accomodate a variety of preferences ranging from mild flavors to spicy but always flavorful. Snap her up!
