First Cook /Baker for Private Tennis Club (Summer position) Department: Kitchen Reports to: Executive Chef, Sous Chef The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club is a comfortable friendly haven in the middle of the city offering its members the best and most respected tennis facilities in the country. Job Description This would be a temporary full-time position. Baker/ 1st Cook with ability to create and execute own creative appetizer and dessert menu, expedite the line, display food in decorative way, organize own mise en place for stations in allotted time for service and help with banquet prep and services when necessary. Required Skills Be able to work independently and as part of a team Work in a small / fast pace kitchen atmosphere Performs well under pressure Must be able to work Nights and Weekends when required Qualifications Legally entitled to work in Canada 3 years Experience in the Field Knowledgeable in the Food Service Industry Graduated from a Food and Beverage Course Chef Training Certificate We thank all applicants for their interest and will only contact those selected for an interview.
