We have a spacious hall for up to 300 people and have a State-of-the-art lighting and Audio system which will add a fun element in your event. We provide the best Banquet services that a client has desired for. We host weddings, social events, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, gala dinners, corporate events, conventions, meetings, product launches etc. Currently we have employment opportunity for 02 Cooks. Job Duties Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes and special meals Run food from the kitchen to the banquet hall on demand Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies, to prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, making sauces, butchering meat etc.) Stock inventory appropriately Follow and execute chef direction for preparing individual dishes Comply with nutrition and sanitation/hygiene regulations Clean up station and store leftover food Manage and train staff such as food servers, dishwashers and kitchen helpers Prepare plate presentation procedures Determine size of food portions Track and report food waste issues Employment requirements Completion of secondary school is required. 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience or Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks is required. Basic English is requirement too. Ability to work in kitchen for extended hours. Benefits As per collective agreement and BC Employment standards act, 4vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period with 10 days of unpaid vacation annually or the option to choose 10 days of paid vacation annually with no vacation pay on each pay period.
