Kitchen Manager:  Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties  Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products prepared.  Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment to meet operational standards, as well as Alberta Health Services standards.  Attend all scheduled employee meetings and assists with planning the topic agenda.  Prepare, cook, and present food, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards.  Maintain accurate food-ordering, kitchen supply ordering, and stocking levels.  Through the effective use of company documentation, ensure that all relevant control procedures are in place to deliver accurate production records and effective waste management.  To ensure the entire kitchen team are aware of their responsibilities in respect of health and safety in the workplace and have the minimum qualifications and training to work in a kitchen environment.  To ensure that the kitchen team comply with the policy on personal hygiene and dress code.  Encourage employees to work safely and to look out for the safety of fellow workers and customers.  Ensure that all equipment is working safely is compliant with manufacturers guidelines for operation  To ensure all new staff members receive a thorough onboarding and are given all the initial help they need to achieve the required standards in their new job.  With the support of the management, equip all members of the kitchen team with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to do their job successfully, through specific one on one training and on the job coaching.  Actively recognize good performance in the team and provide positive feedback.  To understand the budget and work to the agreed targets on food cost, labour hours, and wastage.  To ensure that the company control procedures, in respect of food production, portion control and stock management, are fully implemented.  Performs other related duties as assigned.  Have a Passion for East Coast Hospitality! Sous Chef: • Maintaining a clean space, especially in view of guests. • Demonstrate Food safe understanding and adherence. • Work quickly and efficiently. • Responsible for open/closes which include daily/weekly cleaning duties, prepping equipment for close, and ensuring kitchen is ready for morning open. • Be a team player! Be Helpful and compassionate to your fellow members. • Assist in hiring and training of new employees • Lead back of house team during lunch/dinner shifts. • Communicate between shifts and with other managers and teammates. • Have a passion for great food and real ingredients. • Prep/Cook/Oversee food that is genuine and of a high-quality. • Ability to cook large amounts of dine-in, takeout and delivery at the same time • Take responsibility for food quality and presentation of everything leaving the kitchen. • Work cohesively with other BOH and FOH leads to continually improve our operations • Have a passion for providing East Coast Food & Hospitality! Line Cook: • Maintaining a clean space, especially in view of guests. • Demonstrate Food safe understanding and adherence. • Work quickly and efficiently. • Responsible for nightly closes which include daily/weekly cleaning duties, prepping equipment for close, and ensuring kitchen is ready for morning open. • Be a team player! Be Helpful and compassionate to your fellow members. • Communicate between shifts and with managers and teammates • Maintain great communication with FOH to ensure service is smooth • Have a passion for great food and real ingredients. • Prep/Cook food that is genuine and of a high-quality • Take responsibility for food quality and presentation of everything leaving the kitchen. • Ability to cook large amounts of dine-in, takeout and delivery at the same time • Pizza experience is seen as an asset. • Have a passion for providing East Coast Food & Hospitality! Prep Cook: • Demonstrate Food safe understanding and adherence. • Work quickly and efficiently • Be a team player! Be Helpful and compassionate to your fellow members. • Communicate between shifts and with managers and teammates. • Have a passion for great food and real ingredients • Be able to multitask and have the ability to prep multiple food items • Prep/Cook food that is genuine and of a high-quality • Understand and follow prep charts, recipes, checklists, and other guidelines • Prepare various items such as vegetables, meats, sauces, dressing, garnishes, etc • General Kitchen Skills such as handling of cleaning chemicals and basic knowledge of equipment operation • Clean as you go mentality • Organizing work areas, stocking, checking equipment and ensuring it is in operational condition • Learn functions of Line Cook, and be prepared to cook on-line • Have a Passion for East Coast Hospitality!
