Dinner Lab is a membership based social dining experience that brings together up and coming chefs cooking foods that tell a story. With diners that are looking to experience a restaurant experience removed of the trappings of the traditional. Our members come together in different locations, regardless of class, age, or social status, and tend to be some of the most creative, trend-setting, and eclectic group of individuals in a city. We don't dictate what our chefs cook, discriminate on who a member should be, and believe that the ambiance that is created by good people, good food, and good drink, is all you need. Our organization is growing at a quick pace and we are actively searching to find team members that will grow with us to provide unique dining experiences and support for our guests. This video should help explain a little more: Dinner Lab Minimum Qualification: Must have 1 years experience in the restaurant industry, but we are happy to train culinary students Must be a self-starter, have strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Must have a flexible schedule (to work events at nights/weekends) Desired Qualifications: Virgo: Attention to detail, and extremely organized A strong leader and problem solver Chameleon: able to adapt, communicate, and work alongside an ever-growing list of chefs, personalities, and characters Creative and able to make orange juice with meyer lemons Position Description: Dinner Lab is looking for part-time Chef de Parties to grow its back of house staff. The Chef de Partie position will work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and the guest chefs – prepping, planning and organization. It is a good opportunity for the chef the partie to network, learn different cuisines and techniques with every event. Chef de Partie will work 25-30 hours a week and we will work around your schedule. This is a paid position, depending on experience. Principal Accountabilities: Preparation: Responsible for assisting Chef de Cuisine and Guest Chef with food preparation Coordinate with Event Manager and Chef de Cuisine in layout and set-up of lab event Event Execution: Coordinate with Chef de Cuisine in event set-up and break-down Responsible for cooking and plating during events
