We are seeking an experienced chef to cater meals for a tech startup’s company retreat. This event will host approximately 40 people, and the chef will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, generous portions on a prompt schedule while staying within a budget of $15,000 USD (~$75–80 per person per day). Responsibilities: Prepare and serve three daily meals (breakfast at 9:00 AM, lunch at 12:00 PM, and dinner at 7:00 PM). Design a menu that accommodates dietary preferences and ensures all attendees receive satisfying portions. Source fresh, high-quality ingredients to create flavorful and nutritious dishes. Manage food preparation, cooking, and cleanup efficiently and professionally. Ensure meals are served promptly to maintain the event schedule. Requirements: Proven experience catering for groups of 40 or more. Ability to provide generous portions and work within a specified budget. Comfortable working in an offsite retreat setting; must not be based in San Juan. Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely meal service. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate various needs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience catering corporate or retreat events.
