Business address: 304-162 Cumberland St, Toronto, ON M5R 3N5 Work Location: The chosen candidates will work at either Alobar Yorkvile (57A-162 Cumberland St, Toronto, ON M5R 3N5) OR Alo (163 Spadina Ave, 3rd Flr, Toronto, ON M5V 2L6) Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Inspect kitchens and food service areas Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Clean kitchen and work areas Ensure daily fresh mise-en-place Complete recipes Requirements: - Education: Completion of high school is required - Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required -Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Attention to detail -Personal suitability: Flexibility, Team player, Reliability, Dependability, Organized, Initiative, Client focus, Flexilibity - Work setting: Restaurant -Language: English is required.
