Company: Bamboo Chopsticks Vietnamese Restaurant Business Location: 3608 Carrington Road Suite 207, West Kelowna BC V4T 3K7 Work Location: Same as above Business Information: Casual family restaurant offering dine in, takeout and delivery of authentic Vietnamese cuisine Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Duties • Prepare and cook full course meals or individual dishes and foods • Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food • Order supplies and equipment • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.) • Clean kitchen and work areas • Work with minimal supervision • Wash dishes Requirements - Education: Completion of high school - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook. If candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience then a post secondary certificate is required Salary: $13.00 to $14.00 Hourly, 40.00 Hours per week Benefits: Uniforms, hats and T-shirts are provided. We provide 25% discount on food during days off, 1 Free meal per shift and 2 free meals in full day shift. Important Information: Work schedule is from Monday to Friday from 12 PM to 8 PM. Flexibility on schedule is required. Overtime may be required. Weekend and weekdays shifts will vary.
