Sandwich Maker: Oak and Orange Hospitality is looking for a Sandwich Maker to assemble our sandwiches behind the line during service at our eatery and market in Mineola, Long Island. Great opportunity to grow within the company! Flexible hours! Full-time or Part-time availability Monday-Friday for breakfast shift and/or lunch shift needed. Has experience making sandwiches in a fast-casual dining environment either in the FOH or BOH (you will be building sandwiches behind a customer-facing line) OR experience working on a line in the front of house. Ability to communicate with customers, kitchen staff, and FOH staff Assist with prep which includes slicing/dicing veggies, slicing meats, making spreads etc. Follow open/close procedures and maintain a clean station Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high-volume Responsible and has good communication skills Able to stand, bend, and reach for the entire shift Experience working with a meat slicer is a plus but not required Reach out to ...@....com if you’re interested in joining our team! Baker: Baked goods would be served Monday-Friday Responsibilities: • Source quality provisions to produce tasty and consistent baked goods for our shop • Demonstrate creativity through your baked goods and thoughtfully suggest items you do best • Bake predetermined baked goods in quantities set by ownership • Thoughtfully package items to minimize spoilage, extend shelf life, and maintain quality • Communicate storage instructions clearly to the Oak &O team to ensure items are stored and kept in the appropriate manner. • Always ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all items produced are maintained Desired Qualifications: • 1 year of experience with baking • Reliable and dependable • Desire to express creativity through food and have fun with it! • Ability to work independently while communicating with ownership • A passion to bake high-quality goods • Excellent communication. • An eye for detail and problem-solving. contact ...@....com with your resume!
