The Executive Chef will provide culinary leadership to six hospitality venues (www.....com) that include two upscale restaurants two conference centers, cafes and a private city club, with several new enterprises under development. These Georgia based hospitality enterprises are the applied learning venues for the Helms College School of Hospitality (www.....edu). The Executive Chef will be the driving force and culinary innovator behind creation of a world-class guest experience, with a relentless focus on quality, creativity, and consistent execution for seven unique menus. The Executive Chef is ultimately accountable for leading a process that begins using seasonal ingredients to build flavorful, award winning dishes, providing his/her team with guidance to deliver exceptional cuisine and hospitality. Position requires a thorough knowledge of basic and advanced cooking techniques with ability to write creative, flavorful, seasonal menus in both restaurant and catering venues. Must have strong presentation skills and minimally substantive experience working as a sous chef with a minimum of three years’ culinary management in an upscale casual and/or fine dining kitchen, preferably with a catering component. Experience managing greenhouse and farm operations would be helpful. An associate degree or higher in culinary arts is required. Preference will be given to chefs with substantive experience in Michelin Star or James Beard restaurants.
