Responsibilities: This opportunity is for an accomplished, creative Executive Chef to partner with a boutique fine dining group to launch an exciting new concept that is to be called SPICE Bistro and Bar. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with an eye for detail and an appreciation for exceptionally high quality cuisine. Recent achievement of notable industry honors will be highly valued here. Requirements: Candidates must have proven success in serving skillfully and carefully crafted dishes of outstanding quality, in addition to a culinary degree and/or equivalent training with highly respected culinary masters. Impeccable service standards, clean work habits with a great attention to detail. Proven ability to lead a staff and positively influence employee behavior. Must have excellent communication skills and knowledge of basic restaurant business administration including food cost and labor management. Experience serving large groups and ground up restaurant opening experience is a plus. This position is based in Baton Rouge and non-local candidates are urged to apply, however they must be willing to relocate.
