We are looking for an outstanding Executive Chef with previous high quality preparation/presentation experience! You must have a balance of strong culinary skills, passion and flair for showing off your skills to a high profile family and their guests.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
You will prepare light lunches for the household & other staff members of a busy home. Dinner parties are one of the things we love to throw and we need a chef that can make our dinners the BEST in Tampa! However, we need you to make every meal the best in Tampa, even when its just the family at home. Most lunches are for around 5-10 and the dinners are based on 10 minimum.
You will be responsible for ordering the food and creating the menus, and creating the ambiance of that particular meal. You will meet once a month with the house manager and present your menus for approval and to go over any up-coming dinner parties that are planned. You will create a bank of part-time/as needed waiting/bar staff to give the ultimate experience to any visiting guests of the household.
• All culinary areas including all catering/events for visiting guests.
• Administrative duties such as menu updates & ordering.
• Hands-on team player.
*Executive Chef Qualifications.
• 3 years high-end restaurant Executive Chef experience
• Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and keep composure while working in a busy house.
• Strong culinary skills
· Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment

MUST BE ABLE TO:
Cook, prepare and present to a high standard. Cook for all occasions, Birthdays, Anniversary’s dinner parties etc. Be able to make lots of different types of foods, from Asian (Chinese, Japanese and Korean 1st choice) Open to all European foods, not so much America!!!! Lol
Light lunch for up to 10 people and full, three course evening meal for a minimum of 10 people each evening but could be up to 30 on some occasions. Other social occasions will call for meals for up to 100 served in a buffet style.
Requirements:
Must have 3-5 years of experience as Sous Chef or Executive Chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks to assistants if needed
Communication and leadership skills when needed
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Some travel maybe required when the principle’s travel to one of their other homes. (UK or USA)
