Off-season work is performed in our Langley office: 508-8840.........th St, Langley, BC V1M 2Y2 Type of employment: Full time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job description: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Book and organize locations for the next season Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Negotiate with clients for use of facilities Develop, implement and analyze budgets Participate in marketing plans and implementation Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance Interview, recruit, train and supervise staff Address customers' complaints or concerns Provide customer service Conduct performance reviews Organize and maintain inventory Cost products and services Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school is required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required. If the candidate does not have 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate related to hospitality or food and beverage service management or a related discipline is required. Bunkhouses/trailers are available for housing at a discounted rate Important information: The workers are required to travel to different cities in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan for 8 months (from March to September). Currently, we are providing our food services all through BC. In-office work during the off-season. Flexibility in schedule is required. Work varies week to week, 5 days a week 8 hours a day, weekends on a rotational basis, 1 to 2 days off provided on a rotational basis.
