o Minimum of three years previous experience as a chef o Previous training in culinary arts to create gourmet food that is current, tasteful & simple o Capable of creating and planning menus, and figuring menu pricing o Ability to maintain consistency and quality of product o Proficiency in maintaining inventory and ordering of product o Efficient with time management and portion control o Ability to manage kitchen labor and food costs o Strong leadership skills in operation and management of the kitchen o Capable of short order cooking and catering for large events o Strong communication skills and ability to be a team player o Conscious of and able to maintain high health standards and food safety codes o Enthusiastic attitude in the workplace towards guests and other staff o Capable of training, hiring and supervision of other kitchen staff o Strong personal qualities of being honest, responsible, hardworking & loyal o Ability to cross-train and perform other job descriptions during shoulder seasons
