Chef Job in East End, Virgin Islands

We are looking for a chef or experienced cook who has been looking for that promotion. We have a small kitchen that runs with between 2 and 5 people depending on the time of year. It is open air and directly on the ocean! You won't find a kitchen with a better view! Come join the team! Responsibilities in your role: Here’s a list of key responsibilities for a head chef to include in your ad: Menu Development: Design and innovate menus, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients. Kitchen Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, order supplies, and reduce food waste. Cost Management: Manage food costs and budget, balancing quality with profitability. Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with front-of-house staff for seamless service and guest satisfaction. Problem Solving: Handle kitchen challenges, such as equipment issues or staff conflicts, effectively and efficiently.
