La Brezza Ristorante is Italian dining fare in Calgary, Canada dated back since 1987. We are rapidly growing and have new exciting plans for 2023. We are looking for a chef to join our growing team to bring innovation and ability to handle pressure in a thriving kitchen. La Brezza's chef's role contains the following responsibilities: - Controlling and conducting food preparation, production and the highest caliber of food presentation. - Food inventory, and recipe costing for new menu, ensuring cost control - Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer - Managing and working cohesively and closely with other chefs - Helping create menu and food items, developing dishes in-season ensuring quality and consistency - Determining food inventory, stocking, PAR levels and ordering - Being responsible for food sanitary and safety guidelines - Ability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes - maintain and ensure all departmental and restaurant procedures We note that the salary presented in this ad is subject to negotiation dependent on work experience.
