Luckakuck Way, Chilliwack BC V2R 3C7 Location of work: same as above Type of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies • Inspect kitchens and food service areas • Train staff in preparation, cooking and safe food handling • Order supplies and equipment • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment • Cleankitchen and work areas • Recruit and hire staff • Manage kitchen operations Requirements: -Education: Completion of high school is required -Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience is required - If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required - Evening and weekend work is required Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 hourly, 35 to 45 Hours per week Benefits: Uniforms, discount and meals Important information: Work schedule: 5 days per week and two days off in a rotational basis. Position requires flexibility in scheduling.Shifts will vary from5:30AM to 10:30PM.
