Are you a chef in San Marcos, TX looking for a great opportunity? I, Leslie, am offering $20/MEAL to hire an experienced chef to prepare a group dinner for our community La Cima here in San Marcos, Texas. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the kitchen preparing dishes, including meal planning and creating recipes. You should have a strong understanding of food safety and how to keep a kitchen clean and organized. Additionally, you should have an understanding of different dietary restrictions that may be present and be able to work with different types of ingredients. The community is looking for a chef that can prepare a Mediterranean meal. We are in discussion with our HOA to see if we can host the event in our Great Hall of our recreation center. There is a kitchen on site, but it is not to be used to cook the food. Catering style is the expectation. We would need someone who has access to everything needed to bring in and serve food to a group of people who would be purchasing their meal in advance so that we could provide you with the exact number of meals needed. This is in the early stages of planning, but the polls sent out have been for a couples/adults only meal for a Saturday evening. No set date at this time beyond wanting to do it this year. Once we find a chef that can provide for the need, we will move forward to the final planning. We are expecting this event to take a minimum of three hours.
