Job Title: Private Vegan Chef (Temp to Permanent Position) Location: • 25% NYC Area • 75% Travel (via private transport (domestic & international)) Job Description: A private couple is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated professional Vegan Chef. Salary: Commensurate with experience Job Schedule: 6-day workweek (10-hour days) Sample Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (start & stop times may vary slightly) **Schedule may change due to the couple’s requirements Duties include but are not limited to: • Prepare healthy vegan meals daily • Menu planning with the couple • Coordinate meal serving times with the couple • Kitchen organization • Keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times • Maintain stock levels of pantry/refrigerator/freezer with fresh ingredients at all times • Grocery shop as needed • Maintain proper food storage/handling including disposal of expired ingredients/groceries • Occasionally run errands during downtime Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years experience cooking in high-profile homes • Located in NYC area • Own transportation • Valid driver’s license and current passport • Current USA Green Card if applicable • Current COVID-19 vaccination card • COVID-19 PCR test prior to international travel • Clean background • Outstanding organizational and time management skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Discretion and confidentiality • 30-Day evaluation period (Temp to Permanent) in NYC area • Flexibility and adaptability
