China Cafe is Now Hiring 1. Full-Time Experienced Wok Cook with Chinese Buffet Restaurant 2. Food Runner (full-time or part-time) 3. Waitress (Chinese Buffet experiences preferred) 中華食府徵 炒鍋熟手 有意者請與我聯繫 Wok Cook: 1. Work in different kitchens, demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge in food preparation. 2. Maintain a high standard for personal hygiene and sanitation. 3. Maintain clean and safe working environment. 4. Perform line cook duties, including sauté and wok cooking. 5. Perform opening and closing duties. 6. Volunteer to assist other team members as needed. 7. Maintain a courteous and helpful relationship with internal and external guests. 8. Trains others to perform duties quickly and efficiently. 9. Perform cleaning of coolers, freezers and other storage areas as assigned, competent in teaching the lower ranks. 10. Assist in storing and rotating of all inventories as needed. 11. Keep work areas stocked and maintained at all times including staying ahead on side work and assisting other team members as needed. 12. Other duties as assigned. Food Runner: 1. Perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking, such as preparing foods and cutting fruit, making Sushi. 2. Prepare, wash and store dishes following China Café procedures. 3. Adhere to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures. 4. Deliver, prepare trays at buffet area. 5. Complete assigned cleaning duties. 6. Ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen. 7. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
