Chef Job in South Lake Tahoe, California

The Blue Angel Cafe & Catering Co. is a small-medium sized neighborhood bistro off the beaten track in the heart of South Shore. We are looking for a couple of great people to join the kitchen crew this summer, and possibly permanently. One year kitchen experience is a must, and must hold a High School Graduate or GED equivalent. Candidates must have a strong grasp of English. Our team relies on strong communication, service-minded attitudes, and a shared commitment to quality. If you are looking to get away from the pressure-cooker of high-volume, tourist-focused restaurants with crazy hours, this is the kitchen for you. Our volume is lower while our quality remains high. We do not do breakfast, and close at 9 pm every night. You will be surrounded by smart, professional, flexible people and will be paid a fair wage, with possible room for growth.
