Long Grain is Asian restaurant located in beautiful town of Camden on midcoast of Maine is looking for a Sous Chef. The town is known for foodie destination. And Long Grain has been recognized at national level. You will be cooking with seasonal and local ingredients from local farmers, fishermen, and foragers. It is a very fast paced restaurants, therefore candidate must have a strong sense of urgency and be able to handle consistent busy operations. However, Asian cuisine background and culinary degree is NOT necessary if you have a passion for cooking and eagerness to learn. The restaurant is open 5 days a week (Tuesday-Saturday) with the same hours year round.. The restaurant is closed on most holidays. Benefits include paid vacations, holidays, snow days, sick days.
